Never estimate this place. Crossed over it Christmas time and it was a real good old snowstorm!

Care should be taken in this section. Go inside, look at the weather and dare the ascent only when visibility permits. Because at the top it gets even more uncomfortable.
In good weather you climb above the tree line through boulders and rocks always uphill. It gets steep and windier with every step. However, with a clear view, you can almost forget the hardships of the ascent, that's how beautiful it is here. Step by step towards the highest point.

Very rocky climb up to the pass and up there it is very windy. But whenever you are up on the pass you will reward yourself with an incredible view on the side of the Grey glacier.
