When you dive under the A15 the road is not really engaging but very quickly a little punk urban energy emerges before at the water's edge the path becomes a haven of peace in the middle of the city.
It is also an excellent way to reach Île Saint-Denis away from traffic.

Hello backpackers.
Totally agree with you, it's a great plan for anyone looking for a happy car-free alternative. I like the term "plunge", because in the other direction that I often do, it is….small chainring of 22 teeth, and 36 rear !!. Too bad we can't go along the Seine with the viaduct…., maybe one day. In all, from there, you can reach the center of Paris, without a traffic light, or cars!!.

To follow the right bank of the Seine from Argenteuil to Ourcq. Quiet and almost wild between Argenteuil and the Epinay bridge, then landscaped to the Porte de la Villette. To do ;-)
