Compared to the giants of the Salzkammergut, this lake is only a small, blue patch of earth. But a nice one! And the bike path leads right past it.

Around 200 meters in altitude with a gradient of up to 13% it goes up to the Schwarzensee. Here the view over the mountain lake is rewarding. At the parking lot there is a small kiosk with drinks and snacks. Those who are more hungry drive the 400 meters down to Lore's Wirtshaus. Here you can enjoy regional delicacies with a view over the lake.
