This is where the 125 kilometer Nahe begins its journey to the Rhine. Up to the mouth in Bingen, it leaves 380 meters of altitude behind. The source is a nice place for a break. There is a playground in the immediate vicinity.

Here the Nahe rises out of the rock, which flows into the Rhine 125 kilometers later. The Nahe cycle path also begins here. There is a hiking trail, an animal enclosure and a playground nearby.

Here you are standing at the source of the Nahe, which is still a small trickle here. Later it flows into the Rhine near Bingen. There is a wildlife enclosure in the immediate vicinity of the Nahe source. Both are accessible all year round. Admission is free.
