One flower more beautiful than the other - I found it particularly difficult to choose the motif here - it could have been 200 📸. But now a small selection 😉👻

XXII Saxon Camellia Flower Show
March 10th - April 13th
Camellia blossom in the glasshouses
Exhibition of the Saxon (Seidel) camellia collection with a large number of historical varieties, especially from the 19th century, on 1500 m² of display glass. The main flowering is expected at the end of March.

XVIII Azalea Show in the Country Palace
The collection of the former "Royal Court Gardens of Pillnitz" now includes 360 historical varieties and is presented in the palace.

Hydrangeas - the big summer bloom in the park
The hydrangea collection, which includes 500 varieties and species, is presented in various display groups in the estate park. In another section, the varieties are arranged alphabetically. Above the greenhouses there are 360 planted varieties, the flowering of which depends on the late frosts.

Christmas in the country castle "Christmas things from Thuringia and the Ore Mountains"
On two floors of the castle there will be everything that makes Christmas in Saxony and Thuringia so special: the old Ore Mountains men, pyramids and toys, an old tin toy train in gauge I, plus crackling fires in the fireplace and mulled wine in the medieval castle vault.
