Virtually car-free asphalt. Until the descent to S ILARIO Baganza. Then the cycle bridge over the Baganza. Car-free asphalt ascent, then an exciting dirt road in Castellaro. Then path along the Baganza stream. Sala Baganza and return to Casale di Felino. About 600 meters uphill but interspersed with ups and downs. Not possible with mud

Built on Mount Bastia by the Pallavicinos as a defensive outpost of the castle of Monte Palero, the stronghold was purchased in the 17th century by the Borianis, originally from Piacenza; developed on three levels, the large and articulated stone structure, located on the edge of the Boschi di Carrega regional natural park, has been flanked since 1802 by the neoclassical chapel dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, commissioned by the new Boschi owners.
