Loop of the Bedgebury Red Trail which incorporates most of the trails (Cake Run is not part of the loop but worth riding). Ride anti-clockwise. Easy single track, not much elevation change so plenty of peddling, but good exercise and a bit of fun. Good introduction to single track and berms. Rooty in places and braking bumps into some of the berms but sections are being repaired. Watch out for loose stone on the repaired sections. All trails are well directed so no need for a map or navigation.
While this trail is great for entry level single track MTB fun, there is some serious track erosion in a few areas. It's easy to gain some speed and a wheel in the wrong rut or onto a large root or rock WILL send you over the handlebars! No need to go so slow that it's boring, just be cautious and keep the fingers on the brake levers.
