The Church of the Templars, bordered by the river Lia and isolated in the green of the surrounding countryside, is located in Tempio, in the middle of the plain between the Piave and Livenza, 6 km from Oderzo (the ancient Opitergium). The building, perfectly preserved, is the only remaining testimony of the Masòn built in the 12th century by the monastic-military Order of the Knights of the Temple.
The church is currently inserted in the architectural complex dating back to the Giovannita management.
