For us Saarlanders there is only one "city" in the whole country - and that is just our state capital Saarbrücken. Here in the pedestrian zone, life pulsates.
Therefore, many French come from the nearby border area to shop and enjoy life.
The entire pedestrian zone is open to cyclists !!
TIPPP:
The access roads to the state capital of Saarbrücken and almost all roads there have either separate bike paths or the right part (about 1 meter) of the road is (since July 2017) specially marked and reserved for cyclists.
