Town in the Muggio valley that deserves a visit. The village was already inhabited in the Middle Ages and stands on a terraced slope which offers a magnificent view. In the village you will find services and refreshments.

The village of Bruzella was already inhabited in the early Middle Ages and stands on a terraced slope on the left bank of the Muggiotal; until 1609 it was regionally connected with Monte and spiritually with Caneggio (at least until 1649). The most important activities of the village revolved around agriculture (and the mill documented in 1298 on the municipal border with Cabbio), cattle breeding (and the milk and cheese production associated with it) and the management of the forest areas (trade in wood and coal); there was also a lot of emigration at certain times of the year.
