Yes, the path leads past two probably nameless ponds. You can just see them flashing through the foliage. There is no direct access to the ponds from here, and that's a good thing. They belong to the protected wetland biotope of the adjacent Struckteich. The path is currently rock hard and can quickly become deep in wet weather. So when you're going downhill quickly, you need all your attention to find the right track.
