Remember to wear a pair of good hiking shoes for the slipping path. And beware of the sudden come motorcycles which destroy the beautiful nature.

There are two ways to try this route: from east to west, from west to east. The former one is easier and I advice you to choose this way for the first time to go to Kai Kung Leng. As the most difficult part of this route is the poor condition of the path which is so slippery, it makes you spend much more time to go down the hill. While there're stairs in the western part of this route near the village, it makes the 'east to west' way much easier.
