Not far from the bridge are 3 large & old oaks, unfortunately blocked by a gate🙃
This artistic "landmark" is right next to the bridge. Fortunately, sculpture is very difficult for you, otherwise you would probably want to throw it into the floodplain because of its beauty 😉

As part of the project Gartenregion 2009 of the Hanover region, the course of the Burgdorfer Aue was provided with six sculptures, so-called "landmarks". For this purpose, artists from the region have created works of art related to the respective location, which are distributed over a length of about forty kilometers. Two of the sculptures are located in Sehnde-Dolgen, others are in Lehrte, in Burgdorf am Pferdemarkt, in Uetze-Obershagen and Ehlershausen. Locations and naming refer to the altitude of the water, with every five meters height is a sculpture. Their increasing distances downstream illustrate the typically decreasing slope to the lower reaches.
