The ridge of Adelegg was populated only after 1700 large area. Until 1896 Emmental cheese was produced on the Schletteralpe. Then the dairy was expanded to the restaurant room. For five decades, the veil attracted numerous hikers and skiers to the Adelegg. In 1962, there is no new leaseholder and the once proud Alp falls into ruin. A fire finally gives her the rest. Today there is a weather shelter and hammocks invite you to linger.
