House No. 12 / formerly the Biedermann house
Since 1994, the Liechtenstein National Museum has operated a rural living museum in the municipality of Schellenberg. The historic farmhouse, which was moved to its current location in 1993 and rebuilt there, shows the rural way of life and the working world of our ancestors.
Built in log construction in 1518, the house belonged to the tenant's chattels and was therefore dismantled several times and rebuilt elsewhere. It documents the late medieval settlement, building and economic methods in the Rhine Valley.
