Up to the steepest point of the Galgenberg, the route is super paved. Shortly after this photo point, there are slight curves, potholes and crumbly asphalt - at 50 km / h downhill not for everyone. Oh yes, braking would also work. ;-)
The best route is from Heimsheim to Merklingen. This makes the rubble track near Heimsheim just bearable.
After completing the small ramp behind Heimsheim with a 20% gradient, a longer descent awaits on a much better surface with a fantastic view of the WdS and Merklingen – it's worth it!
