The Sant Pere Reixac hermitage is located very close to the Besòs river in the town of Montcada i Reixac. It has been documented since the year 992. It was rebuilt in the middle of the 11th century and consecrated to 1048. Around the year 1676 it was transformed, acquiring the appearance that we can see today.

It was a parish until 1876. The church stands out for its tower, with a square and octagonal base, from the 17th century.

The hermitage, although it withstood two fires, has always stood the test of time and has been cared for both inside and outside. The small hermitage together with its cemetery is an enclave that transmits peace both due to its architectural and landscape beauty.

Sant Pere de Reixac is located almost 200 meters above the Besos river valley. The church has been burned and destroyed several times but it has more than 1000 years of history. It is a beautiful place to visit.
