The Bivouac of Salvedella Nuova is located in the locality of the same name at 1249 meters above sea level, along the so-called "Strada delle Cime". Owned by the Municipality of Borgo Valbelluna, it is managed by the Mel Hunters Association. It is a masterfully restored old woodcutter's hut. The structure, used as a bivouac, has rather small but welcoming rooms able to guarantee an overnight stop (3 bunks upstairs).
