A quite exclusive residential area in the otherwise tranquil town of Weener. There are no cars parked in the garages here, but rather pleasure boats and yachts.
Just take a look to see where and how you can - so to speak - sink your money. It's quite beautiful to look at and a feast for the eyes.

The "old port" in Weener has meanwhile become a small El Dorado for traditional ships. Whether historical inland or sea, sailing or motor ships - many have found their home port in Weener.

During the season, crews with traditional ships from other ports also visit us regularly, many from other European countries. Some, who had only planned Weener as a short stage destination, stay much longer than planned. Many come back. Some stay.
