The Mopani Trails start off at the reception of the camp and wind down towards Pioneer Dam. After heavy rainfall, the trails become rather slippy and muddy.
The dam is well known for its stunning bird watching and great game viewing.
On the other side of the dam, unfortunately only accessible by car, is the bird hide. A definite must when visiting Mopani Rest Camp
