The most striking building in Andelsbuch is certainly the Werkraumhaus, which opened in 2013 and was designed by the Swiss architect Peter Zumthor. The hall-like building serves as an exhibition space, gathering place and as a window for the craft culture in the Bregenzerwald.
Opening times: Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The visionary design of the Werkraumhaus is based on two fundamental ideas: On the one hand, it serves as a meeting place, and on the other, it serves as a large showcase, a showcase for the artisan culture of the Bregenzerwald. A restaurant is also available.
