"Benedictine Abbey of St. Blaise to Admont" - this is the name of Admont Abbey officially. It contains the largest monastery library in the world and a museum in which Baroque and contemporary architecture, art from the Middle Ages to the present, a natural history museum, early manuscripts and prints, special exhibitions and other offers are shown. In the middle of the Kalkalpen a real, cultural highlight.

You have to see the pen! Really impressive inside and out. Last but not least, the library is also an overwhelming thing. There is also a small restaurant with the monastery's own wine.

The library of Admont Abbey impresses both with its architecture and its artistic design. In a short tour (approx. 40 min.)
both are explained quite well. In the monastery museum, video installations give an insight into the history of the monastery.
