He's pretty straight in the truest sense of the word, little Anninger. No frills, natural, rough and very often on my menu when I'm out and about in the MTB area on the Anninger.
It's a bit remote from the mainstream, and that's why you're usually quite alone there. Nevertheless, a detour there is worthwhile, even if the trail entrance is not easy to find.
In the upper part it is quite direct and fast, from the crossing of the hiking trail (please be careful and careful!!! There are of course always hikers on the way) it becomes more technical and, above all, steeper. First you have to take one or the other stepped bottleneck between rocks. Then it gets steep and loose. Depending on how well you have your front wheel under control, you can ride a well-marked path on the left, or you can go straight down through the scree.
