    Hike at the foot of Königsspitze, Zebrù, and Ortler between Schaubachhütte and Hintergrathütte.

    This is not a marked trail, but rather a route marked with orange-yellow wooden posts that have to be replaced every year due to the glacier's constant movement.

    We hiked the trail twice: once with a lot of snow and once with little. When there is little snow, walking over the large stones/rocks is quite difficult/unpleasant.

      You need about 2.5 - 3 hours to Madritsch gondola, at slow walking away you have to look exactly not easy for inexperienced.

              The glacier trail from the Hintergrathütte to the Sulden gondola's mountain station is fascinating.

              BUT: don't underestimate it! It easily takes two hours and requires very good footwear, as you'll be walking entirely on loose scree on the glacier.

                below the Ortler. Impressive the calm there were few hikers on the way. Everywhere rushed the drains of the glaciers. There were also stones above the summit.

                      Caution: The trail runs over loose gravel, is poorly marked, and unpaved! Sturdy footwear is a must. The gravel is slippery and slippery. A breathtaking view of the torn and dying glaciers awaits. It's exposed to the sun.

                        Beautiful route, but unpaved. You have to keep an eye out for the trail markers. They must be easily visible, especially when the sun is low.

                        It took me about 2.5 hours to hike from the Hintergart Hut to the Schaubach Hut.

                          A very interesting trail, but you have to pay close attention to the markings. They can be difficult to find at times. The trail mostly leads over scree and large rocks, but you also have to cross glaciers and streams.
