It crosses the Tarn 3.5 kilometers before its confluence with the Garonne, at the exit of Moissac on the departmental road D 813, the old national road 113, in the direction of Castelsarrasin.
The bridge is made up of 9 arches of 20.75 meters and was built in brick and cut stone at a cost of 500,000 francs at the time.
It was inaugurated by Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte on October 6, 1852.
