On this section of the route you can cross the Tubeloch Gorge, as it is popularly known. The crossing takes place along the motorway, on a separate pedestrian path. The river that you cross is called Schüss. It flows through the city of Biel into Lake Biel. If you come from the Magglinger side, you first have to go down a long flight of stairs. Riding a bike is not possible because of the hairpin bends and the steep steps. So you have to push. It is probably not a good idea to drive towards Magglingen from the zoo side. The ascent up the stairs is hard work ... It may work with a light bike on your shoulder, but not with an eMTB.
