Museum for the history of peasant movements, anti-fascism and resistance in the countryside
The Cervi Museum is located in the lower Reggio plain, between the municipalities of Gattatico and Campegine, and is set in the farmhouse where the Cervi family arrived in 1934. Peasant sharecroppers, the Cervi make choices that will prove fundamental in the early 1930s both in production and in the consolidation of a strong anti-fascist orientation.
Shot together with Quarto Camurri in retaliation in December 1943, the story of Genoeffa and Alcide's seven sons immediately assumes a strong symbolic value, while their home - during the Second World War, a point of reference and concrete help for anti-fascists, draft evaders, and for those who opposed the war - it becomes the preferred destination of all those who recognize themselves in the values of anti-fascism and democracy.
Casa Cervi becomes "Museum for the history of peasant movements, anti-fascism and resistance in the countryside" after a spontaneous process of transformation that ended with the rearrangement in 2002.
The Cervi Museum today allows you to rediscover the history of this family, through new and constantly updated tour itineraries, both within the rooms of the Museum and throughout the territory

In line with its mission, the Museum promotes research, studies and initiatives of a historical, ethnographic and environmental nature. Thematic guided tours, integrated itineraries with other museums and institutes, thematic, didactic and theatrical workshops, audiovisual insights, educational exhibitions, training for teachers and students, possibility to agree on in-depth topics with the teachers, these in synthesis are the possibilities designed for the world of schools, Quadrisfera 2as to constitute the new didactic frontier that the Cervi Institute intends to create.

At Casa Cervi the old tools of working in the fields coexist with multimedia technologies: since 2005 the Quadrisfera has been in operation, an engaging installation that "envelops" the visitor in the history of the 1900s. To see, because it is impossible to describe it.
