If you've got time to kill between ferries or are simply enjoying exploring Oban by bike or on foot, Pulpit Hill is a great place to head for far-reaching views down over the town and beyond.
From up here at just 197 feet (60 m), you can see the whole bay, across to Adantrive Bay on Kerrera, and across to the Isle of Mull, including the peak of Ben More.

A small climb and dead end road that gives great views over Oban and the bay.
It's a really nice way to finish a ride when coming back into Oban, before descending down into the town.
