Continuously passable cycle highway without significant car contact from Ruppen to Haßlach. Large parts have been newly tarred, part is graveled.
The cycle path runs on the old railway line of the former Kronach Nordhalben branch line.
It is a great step forward for Kronach, so many thanks to the city and its construction crew who made all this possible.
For every cyclist who wants to go from Marktrodach, Höfles, Vogtenddorf, Fischbach etc. to KC (and vice versa) this is a far better alternative than the old non-intersection-free cycle path north of the B173.

The Kronach bicycle highway from Ruppen to the state horticultural show grounds continues to grow.
After a long stretch from Ruppen to the Loewe Bridge had already been tarred, around 200 m of new cycle path was laid out and tarred along the Baywa to the LGS in November 2020. Thanks to the city, the municipal utilities and the young, active cycle path representative of the city of Kronach, who is moving things forward with a lot of tenacity and patience.
