Around the Pass d'Uffiern (2628 m) extends the alpine rock and scree arena of the Val d'Uffiern between Piz Cristallina (3128 m) and Cima di Garina (2780 m) - here there should be plenty of ibex, which the " Steinbockweg "gives its name. Passing the small military post, the very well-marked footprint leads through rubble and block slopes south to the summit ridge of the Sasso Lanzone.
