Isolated among the coniferous forest, there are remains from the Iron Age and the Middle Ages. There are burial grounds, house foundations, wells and stone wastes and you can still see the arable land that was below the cliff. During spring and summer, the landscape turns into a beautiful summer meadow.
Car: from Visby - drive road 143 towards Ljugarn. Turn onto the forest road at the sign Fjäle, about 3 km south of Ala church. Continue 1.3 km until the car park. From the car park it is 100 meters to walk to the information boards, a few hundred meters into the path are the houses.
