If you drive south of the Elbe and want to go to or from Wittenberge, you will come across this bridge. The route on the main road is too dangerous. If there is oncoming traffic on the bridge, it is advisable to push. The boards are not all solid anymore. It is also advisable to keep your distance from the vehicle in front.

On the Altmarkrundkurs we made station in Wittenberge and this railway bridge offers a good opportunity to get over the Elbe. By the way, there is still a wonderful view over the Elbe. Actually, cyclists should descend in favor of pedestrian traffic, but since this is virtually non-existent, also slow cycling at walking tempo :-D
