The island is home to the so-called Emerald Lake - an emerald green lagoon that is connected to the sea by a system of tunnels. For the best view of Emerald Lake, you have to face a short but (very !) steep climb. The path leads up a rather daringly built and somewhat outdated staircase. But don't worry: After about 10 minutes you will be rewarded with a wonderful panoramic view.
Short, but very steep ascent via a system of stairs to the emerald-colored shimmering lagoon. Not really suitable for children as the stairs are extremely steep. Once at the top there is a great view of the lagoon.
