You can get to the cemetery via the Rhönstrasse, at the end of which a footpath leads along the edge of the forest.
The Jewish cemetery was laid out in 1872 after the purchase of the property was made possible by the Königsbach merchant Löw Stern. There are around 134 tombstones in the cemetery. The last burial took place in 1940 (Amalie Stern nee Schmalz). The entrance gate is currently locked and no access is possible.

The dead of the Jewish community in Königsbach were initially buried in Obergrombach. In 1872 a separate cemetery was laid out in the "Steidig" area (plot 7122, today on the edge of the "Steidig" residential area, end of Rhönstraße, area 13.89 a). The purchase of the property was made possible by the merchant Löw Stern from Königsbach. Löw Stern's tombstone in the middle of the cemetery is considered "valuable" in terms of art history. The first burial was that of Sarah Tiefenbronner (died October 2, 1872). The cemetery has about 140 graves arranged in five rows. To the right of the path - starting from the top - the row of women follows that of men; the front row, directly along the path, is formed by the children's graves. To the left of the path are two rows of graves, first those of women, then those of men. The last burial in the cemetery was that of Amalie Stern, née Schmalz (died January 9, 1940).
