The Luther Church in Raddestorf is the ecclesiastical center of eight districts. It was consecrated in 1926 and replaced the old village chapel from 1663, which was demolished in 1929. Particularly worth seeing is the over 500-year-old wooden pulpit, which is considered the oldest in Lower Saxony. The church also houses the only pneumatic organ in the parish. If you would like to visit the church, you can contact the sexton, who lives in the courtyard opposite.
If you are interested in cycling tours, there are some beautiful routes in the area. Here are a few suggestions:
Uchte - Laschiger Platz am Wegesrand: An easy tour from Uchte that is 27.3 km long and has a height difference of just 50 m.
Mühle Meßlingen - Rastplatz Öspersteg: Another easy tour from the old town that is 31.1 km long and has a height difference of 60 m.
Scheunenviertel Schlüsselburg – Weserblick near Stolzenau: This moderately difficult tour from Leese-Stolzenau stretches over 42.6 km and has an elevation gain of 80 m.
