From the pillar you have a spectacular view of the peaks of the Geigenkamm, the Ötztal Alps and the Stubai Alps. Deep below you can discover the green Ötztal with its small villages. However, the ascent to the summit is not for beginners. It goes over rough-grained terrain and sometimes the hands have to be taken to the rescue.
