The Sanctuary of Sant'Onofrio, located in Bovezzo, is an ancient religious complex first mentioned in 1505. The building is today a homogeneous structure, with additions over the centuries that have covered three of the four sides of the temple.
The facade is characterized by continuous pitches that create a gabled structure, with only two obelisks to mark the actual limits of the front of the church, and is further embellished by a large central window, aligned with the portal, and by a small window that allowed the pilgrims to see the altar even when the church was closed.
