This junction leads to a short one-mile trek to Rigg’s Lake and Campground. Nestled beside an 11-acre alpine lake, the campground offers 31 shaded sites with picnic tables, fire rings, and grills, as well as vault toilets and bear-proof food lockers. However, drinking water is not available, so plan accordingly if you plan a peaceful overnight stay in this scenic area. The site fee is $5, and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
