Capela de San Bartolomé
The views from the chappel are impressive and worth the walk, ride or drive to the site. There are other very interesting sites in the are as well so its offers several sites ranging from BC (petroglphs) to teh Castro that were likley here during Roman times.

The chaple was built in teh 1720s alongside the Castro de Altamira. this was often the practice of christians to build monuments (hermitages) and erect crosses on the sites of pagan sites.

A pilgrimage is held every August 24, the pilgrimage of Miedo. In the vicinity there is a spring that according to legend tastes of iron because of its proximity to a large burial of weapons after a great battle believed to the battle of Mount Medulio.
