Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf District Office: The Volksparksteg was built as a pedestrian bridge in 1969-71 and connects the western and eastern parts of the Volkspark Wilmersdorf across Bundesallee.
The yellow-painted steel footbridge is 65 meters long and 4 meters wide. Six steel cables are attached to a 36-meter-high blue pillar (pylon), which holds up Berlin's first cable-stayed bridge.
