          But not only the city of Aschaffenburg, but also the surrounding communities of Glattbach, Haibach, Kleinostheim, Mainaschaff, Niedernberg and Stockstadt obtain drinking water from the AVG. In addition, water flows as an additional supply to the long-distance water supply Spessart Group based in Alzenau, and the Aschafftal communities also obtain part of their water from AVG.
          In this way, AVG supplies around 130,000 residents in the Aschaffenburg region.
