The 38 cm guns were controlled from the large control room bunker located on the edge of the Holm about 250 m from the museum bunker.

Construction work on the bunker began in February 1941 and by the second half of May the bunker had been cast. However, the bunker was not fully installed until December 1941. Until then, the battery's fire was directed from a temporary control post, which was demolished at the same time that the large bunker came into use.

The large bunker has 1-2 m thick walls and ceilings and has two floors. A large rotating armored cupola with a 10.5 m long range finder was mounted on the roof. On the upper floor of the bunker was the computing room, in which bearings and distances were converted into shot data. The lower floor contained living quarters, bathrooms and toilets for the crew.

The bunker is still there, but is separated from the museum site by the street Kaj Lindbergs Gade, which was laid out in the 1960s. As the bunker has two floors, entering it requires special care.
