The small spa town in Upper Swabia lies on the edge of the Wurzacher Ried. Here you can go hiking and cycling and of course everything revolves around the theme of moor and peat. Bad Wurzach is home to the oldest mud spa in Baden-Württemberg.

Bad Wurzach has much to offer not only as a spa town, it is also the largest still intact bog in Central Europe. With countless hiking trails, discovery trails around the Wurzacher Ried, the stay here is a real refreshment. Furthermore, the pretty old town invites you to stroll.

City center worth seeing (e.g. the stairwell in the castle), spring to autumn: delicious Italian ice cream parlor right next to the church of St.Verena and the spa gardens. Great children's playground right next to the spa park. The Riedsee and the Wurzacher Ried, which has been awarded the European diploma as a whole, are particularly worth seeing. Nice hiking and cycling path, for example along the Ried to Dietmanns
