First it goes through an old tree lined avenue (dirt road) then on a bike path and then hides right into the trail between the fields at the edge of the village.

The term 'trail' is often overused here. A quiet, wide path or an agricultural lane, in my opinion, have nothing to do with a trail (from a mountain bike point of view). Nevertheless, many of these routes are nice to drive, but also with e.g. Touring wheels :-)
