The Old Town Lukavec is located in Lukavec village of the same name, not far from Velika Gorica. This building had a defensive function in history, but it also served for the various needs of the Turopolje nobility. The castle had several building editions, but the last one was created in the 18th century. After the restoration of the object was completed, the object takes up today's appearance and becomes again not only a part of the cultural heritage, but also part of the touristic offer of the Turopolje region (especially on the day of St. George's Day - 23rd April - when the Jurassic Caves fell).
The cultural importance of this castle is also explained by the fact that in the castle of Lukavec, part of the work of the novel "The daughter of Lotorščak" is performed by Croatian writer Marija Jurić-Zagorka.
It certainly needs to be visited and see what myths and legends are hiding in it. :-)
