Built in 1852 for Baron von Stockhausen (Lingner was only 3rd owner)
Freely open to the public (has been linguistically by Lingner)

The Stockhausen villa is the middle of the three Elbe castles on the Loschwitz Elbe Heights. The two-towered mansion was built for the chamberlain of the Prussian Prince Albrecht, who had to seek his residence outside of Prussia because of his nonstandard marriage. Since 1906 it was owned by the manufacturer and founder of the German Hygiene Museum Karl August Lingner (Odol), who after his death, the plant with the generously landscaped park of the city of Dresden transferred.

The restaurant "Lingnerterrassen" is open daily from January to March from 11:00 to 18:00 o'clock, from April including outdoor area daily from 11:00 to 23:00 o'clock.
From the Lingnerterrasse you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Elbe landscape and Dresden.

Castle tours are offered from April to October. These are held every Wednesday at 15.00 and every 1st Saturday of the month at 14.00. Here you can learn much about the castle itself, but also to the eponym of the castle Karl August Lingner.

From April to November, depending on the weather, it is also possible to visit the roof terrace of the Lingner Castle. It is open Monday to Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00.

The three castles are also good to reach with the TRAM 11, stop Elbschlösser. Worthwhile is also the view from the other bank of the Elbe, halfway between the Blue Wonder and Waldschlößchenbrücke. Unique location on the hillside!
