I much prefer the Hettstadter Steige downhill. It's a fast, short and crisp descent and you don't spend too much time with the cars and trucks but still have a lot of fun. Uphill it is rather unpleasant with the noise, the narrow footpaths with often glass and possibly also the blazing sun, but sometimes it is the only option if you want to go in this direction with a racing bike.
