The town hall, which was probably built in the 14th century, fell victim to the fire of 1496. The current building in Renaissance style was built by the Italian builder Antonio Alberti in the years 1580-1582 in the eastern part of the market square. The entrance is decorated with a simple portal, above which there is a stone cartouche with the city coat of arms. On the upper floor there is a door carved out of iron in the Renaissance style, which is decorated with painted rosettes, putti and satyr heads and with a representation of the city's coat of arms and provided with the year 1582.
