          The “Kraaijenbergse Plassen” form an extensive lake area of more than 475 hectares in the north-eastern part of the province of Noord-Brabant; the “Land van Cuijk”.
          The Kraaijenbergse Plassen were created by almost 45 years of sand extraction. The extraction was well planned and responsible, as the banks were irregular and the water surfaces were not dredged too deep. Today, a true paradise for people and animals has been created here.
          The village of Linden is now located on a peninsula due to sand extraction.

                    Beautiful water area near Cuijk with abundant nature and recreational opportunities. Perfect for cycling. The surrounding area is diverse. You can visit the Maasheggen. Cyclists who want to reach higher altitudes can cycle to the Mookerhei and/or Reichswald.
