        Entrance to the La Fagiana Oriented Reserve. La Fagiana has a long history, mainly linked to hunting, the war events that destroyed the main villa led to its slow degradation. In 1974, with the establishment of the Park and the definitive abolition of hunting, hunting activity completely ceased. The rebirth of the estate began in 1984, when the Ticino Park purchased a large part of the ancient reserve to gradually transform it into a Park Centre.

        The estate today extends over almost 500 hectares of forest areas, meadows, oxbow lakes and wetlands: it is entirely included in the area close to the river created by the Ticino floods and constitutes the most important publicly owned natural area in the Ticino Valley

            The "La Fagiana" Oriented Nature Reserve occupies an area of approximately 500 hectares which is mainly located in the municipality of Magenta (partly in Boffalora Ticino and Robecco sul Naviglio). It is a site of notable naturalistic, scientific and tourist interest, which in the last century was one of the most famous hunting reserves of the time, frequented by illustrious people.

                              The Fagiana Park Center can be visited every day. inaugurated in 1990, it is the place that best identifies the Ticino Park. It is located within the "La Fagiana" Oriented Naturalistic Area and is the site of most of the institution's operational activities, as well as the best equipped area for receiving tourists.
